One of the highlights of my summer was our family vacation.
We planned, we saved, we packed, and we headed to the beach.
It was an extra special vacation because all 3 of our girls were able to be there. Our oldest daughter lives in a far away place and my hubby and I were thrilled to have her along for our beach trip. I think the sisters loved being together.
My sister and her girls vacationed with us as well.
It was so much fun to watch my nieces enjoy the beach.
We would wake up in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee (or cocoa).
And we would watch the waves from the window.
We walked along the beach.
We jumped the waves.
We put our toes in the sand.
The time at the beach was a wonderful vacation! And this week as I reminisced and flipped through the pictures I was once again filled with joy as I remembered all the fun the Oregon Coast had to offer.

Ah!! I love the Oregon coast... did you know I used to work in Oregon? Spent a few days in Cannon Beach, but not enough. Fell in love with Eugene and Bend though.... along with Ashland, Grants Pass and even Medford (yeah for Harry & David!)

There's nothin' like kids and a beach. So much fun. Makes it worth the sand in your car for a month. ;)
Looks like it was a great vacation. We had a nice family vacation on the beach several years ago, and I would so love to do it again. Maybe someday...

That looks and sounds like FUN! Okay...we have GOT to visit the Northwestern coast. I can only tell from photos and from what my northwestern states friends tell me...but it sounds awesome!

I love the pictures. It looks like a nice relaxing trip. I love the sound of the ocean. I would love to see the pictures from the trip. The ones you have up are sooo cute.

{sigh} Do I need to say anything more? I love the Oregon coast! It's just so breathtakingly beautiful. Look at all those girlies. What fun for everyone!
