Because I love a list

I give you my thoughts for today in bullet point form...
  • I’m not pregnant.  Thanks for all your sweet comments on my last post.  My energy level is depleted in a major way, but I’m not feeling quite as tired.
  • No matter how hard I try, I can’t get my house to look like 7 people don’t live here.
  • My sister came over this past weekend to help me clean out a closet that was much in need of being cleaned out.  She helped me a ton.  We got a great start on it and as soon as she left I quickly planted myself on the couch where I remained until it was time to go to bed.  The closet doesn’t look half-bad, but the hall where the stuff was sorted is filled with all manner of junk.  I hope I get the energy to get it cleaned up before Thanksgiving.
  • I’ve spent a lot of time browsing this world-wide-web, looking at an abundance of all things crafty and decorative.  I don’t why; it is like I forget all about the fact that I’m not the crafty type.  I forget that tidbit and for a few fleeting moments I am inspired by what I see.  It is kind of like when I get the overwhelming urge to do a back-flip, then right before I get the guts up to attempt the feat, something within me is drawn back to the reality of my abilities.  So while I’ve been momentarily inspired by the crafty things I’ve seen I have refrained from attempting any such projects.  Before heading to the craft store I remember that my end result is not likely going to look like the projects I have seen.
  • The browsing of all the crafty goodness has led me to a love for burlap.
  • Speaking of overwhelming urges…I am so tempted to take myself to the nearest appliance store and buy myself a pretty new washing machine.  The one we currently own shakes so much I feel the vibrations under my feet.  And the noises that come from the machine are quite disturbing as well.
  • There is nothing I love more than a baby in pajamas.   And when that baby is learning to crawl, and that same baby got his first tooth, and that baby makes the cutest noises, and that baby is referred to my grandson it is all just too much.  That baby is irresistible.
I suppose I will conclude with 7 points, because I don’t want to bore you with all the things that comprise this life of mine, I need to withhold a few details so I’ll have blog posts to write in the future, and after all 7 is God’s perfect number.

And my washing machine does that same thing. It's so loud it scares people.

Posts like these are always my favorite -- not boring in the slightest :)

Your washing machine sounds like it's plagued by the same disease that ours is. Yesterday Dave was home in the morning when I was doing laundry and asked if it always sounded like that. Maybe that means we will get to go the appliance store soon :)

Oh babies in PJ's are wonderful. isn't there a Psalm about that somewhere? And about broken washing machines too I bet -- vanquish my enemies LORD.

I got a real chuckle out of Rachelle's comment. Hee hee hee!

I tried to comment earlier today, but my connection was being rebellious. Love this list, crafty friend! ;) I completely agree with the house-mess issue. How do such little people make such big messes? Wait. The big people make them too. {My hubby would ask me if that was a 'fat joke'. ha!}

Babies in pj's = a bit of heaven.
